Our unique approach helps people overcome this challenge. Created by Cristina Hernández Grande, this technique was shaped when she learnt English at a Summer Camp in New York. Brick by brick, she learnt a new language through real interactions. That’s when she realised the power of learning-by-doing.
At La Casa Grande, we will help you learn and enjoy speaking Spanish, by using it. There’s no better way. You can’t learn how to ride a bike from reading a book – you have to jump on and pedal!

About Cristina
¡Hola! I am Cristina Hernandez Grande, your Spanish language architect based in Málaga (Spain).
My story starts with my grandfather, Victoriano Grande. He had three shops, all called La Casa Grande. He believed that you have to serve people with the best version of yourself and provide the best products and service.This philosophy, along with his shops, were passed down to my mother Conchita Grande, and she personified his values. I was fascinated by her selfless approach. She would give hours of her time, passion and joy to customers, whether they made a purchase or not. Everybody was treated like family.
My aim is to bring this same philosophy to our sessions. To be the best I can be for our learners, so we can achieve the best results. To provide a welcoming house, where visitors are treated like family.

Learning Spanish is like building a house. We’ll help you build the home of your dreams with convenient online and face-to-face sessions. This is how…
1. Foundations
Without solid foundations, your language skills will crumble. With La Casa Grande, you’ll learn the basics needed to feel confident and strong in any situation.
2. Brick-by-brick
Learning Spanish shouldn’t feel overwhelming. You’ll build one level before you proceed to the next, until your house is fully constructed.
3. Decorating
Just like you decorate your own house, you’ll learn and practise the language skills that suit you. Learn to talk like you, about the things you love.

At La Casa Grande, we will help you elevate from studying Spanish, to a level where you actively use the language and become fluent in Spanish. You can either join an existing online course or create a tailored package to suit you.
Conversation & Grammar // B1-B2
- Tuesdays - 15 April to 20 May
- Wednesday - 16 April to 21 May
- 9.30 to 11.30 or 18.00 to 20.00
- Carry on building your Spanish speaking and grammar skills using news, series, role playing and design with your group a plan according to your interests and needs. ¡VAMOS!
- 6 sessions - 2 hours per session
- Minimum 5 participants, maximum 8 participants.
- You only need 3 things to start: computer/tablet/mobile device, internet connection and a cup of coffee or tea
